Are You Wondering What It Takes to Reach the Top?
I recently listened in to an interview with the company’s newest Eagles. The call was designed to share their secrets to success in reaching the top level of the pay plan. These types of call inspire me for one primary reason:

It was two years for this couple to hit the “half-way” mark (Executive), as they worked it very part time. They got serious at the Executive, and then it was almost 4 years to go from Executive to Eagle.
The exciting part is the story of the two people who took them over to Eagle! One of their new Executives actually became interested in the company after reading about the company’s rapid rise in Success Magazine. He called the company and then decided to seek out and choose his own sponsor. He found her on Facebook!
The second Executive who promoted them to Eagle was someone from way in their past. It sort of parallels my story with my friend and sponsor for the second time, Jordan! (See below!)
They stayed consistent, talking to people, and following up!! Follow up is the key. They didn’t get discouraged when people said no. They kept at it knowing that over time, some who said no would end up joining and along the way, if they kept talking to people, some more would say yes.
If you have leads in an auto-responder, because you are marketing online, it becomes easy to at least keep your name out there, but sending a card every month or two to your prospects is KEY! Even online contacts. It extends the relationship building aspect of it! The internet is great as a tool, but building on that relationship happens offline. It is key to a successful business!
We have a complete system that allows you to very simply keep in touch with your prospect; your family and your business associates. It doesn’t get easier in a business.
Set up a campaign that mails a card every 2 months or so to your prospects. This is part of your monthly “Auto-Ship.” How cool is that?
Just keep your name out there because YOU never know when timing is going to be right for someone.

In 1992, he approached me about his network marketing business and I was extremely DIS interested. I wouldn’t even look at it. I would go so far as to say I was MEAN to him!!!
15 months later, I practically begged him to sign me up because my life and WHY had changed. I had a baby, was home and wanted to be sure I could STAY home!
Fast forward to 2010; Jordan and I have gone our separate ways in terms of a business, and our original company filed bankruptcy and has been gone since 2004. Jordan has sent me cards for the last 5 years. Sometimes I rolled my eyes when they came in (I’m just being honest!) It’s important to understand how things progress!
I’m not interested. I’m at the top of another company and life is good.
Time goes on; things change; my deep-seeded desire to have an international business; highly internet based creeps in and I start evaluating my options. I call Jordan (notice a pattern?) I get interested; I get un-interested. I’m scared of making a change. Why rock the boat? Life is good….mostly….except for that huge desire in my gut that says don’t give up on your ultimate dream!
Time goes on some more; things change; I come to terms with the fact that I MUST pursue my passion and I will not stop until I accomplish my dreams.
We call Jordan (see the continuing pattern?) We take the plunge and feel a sense of excitement when we hit SUBMIT to sign up the family as a distributor with the company.
Nothing Jordan did, or the “Eagle Couple” did was “magical” or outside of the reach of all of us. It’s consistency; persistence and belief that if you do the same action steps, you’ll get similar results!
What do we do – we share our concept with people; we share our enthusiasm; we share our appreciation and gratitude; we continue this process and plant those seeds. Over time, some of those seeds will sprout and grow into Senior Managers; Executives and beyond. We don’t know when those seeds will germinate and take hold. Some will quickly, others over time; some won’t at all.
