The Gratitude Project

Do you ever have those times when you keep seeing or hearing the same thing over and over, and then you finally act on it? That is what happened to me with a book called “365 Thank Yous” by John Kralik.

I kept hearing it and finally decided to act on it. I read it and decided that this would be a great practice in my own life, as I have come to a place where my mission is so much more around appreciating and acknowledging the people who make a difference in my life.

And, now, I am seeing it everywhere!

Even Parade Magazine highlighted it for the year in their first issue of the New Year!

I would love to have you on this journey with me, if you are game!

Customer Appreciation and Service

How much time do you spend in your day or week appreciating others? Your family? Friends? Customers and Clients? Prospective Customers and Client?

Here is a great clip by the late, great Jim Rohn that really sums up the importance of taking care of our customers.

One customer, well taken care of, could be more valuable than $10,000 worth of advertising.

Good service leads to multiple sales. If you take good care of your customers, they will open doors you could never open by yourself.

How do you deserve a fortune? Render fortunes of service.

You have to do more than you get paid for because that’s where the fortune is.

Whoever renders service to many puts himself in line for greatness—great wealth, great return, great satisfaction, great reputation and great joy.

Appreciation Marketing in 2 Simple Steps

“I wept because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet.” Ancient Persian saying.

That kind of sums up a lot, doesn’t it? When you think about it, we all have our share of bad times, right? And it is said that 87% of everything we see or hear is negative. In our jobs, we are often surrounded by whiners and complainers. And what good does it serve?

Here are two simple steps you can use to make a difference for others while you build a highly successful business. After all, what you give out DOES come back to you ten-fold, right? Do you believe that? I do, as I have experienced it first hand!

1. Be on the look out constantly for ways you can show appreciation, gratitude and recognize others. It could be by sending out cards; or a kind word; an unexpected, heartfelt gift, etc. Set a goal to find 2 things a day to recognize, appreciate and make sure the people involved know that you are appreciative and grateful, Don’t keep it hidden inside!

2. See good where others can not. Make it a goal to remain aware of when you are choosing to see your glass half empty vs. half full. Doing this will keep you in a positive mindset that you will always be giving off positive energy to those around you. People want to be around and do business with positive people! Be that bright shining light!

Commit to these simple steps in your appreciation marketing strategy and see what shows up.
