Keys to Success With Network Marketing

Network Marketing Success leaves clues!

Have you ever heard that expression before? It’s so true. Spend some time interviewing the top income earners in Network Marketing and you’ll quickly fine that most of them follow a pretty similar path, in terms of action steps and activity.

How they actually go about building their business will vary from person to person, but a few things remain the same. Success is built around the principles of:

Duplication – this means teaching another to do exactly what you have done to them. Pop a DVD in the player and watch the presentation; take someone on a Gift Account Walk Through and let them experience the greeting and gift card product itself; etc. Duplication is an EXACT copy of the original.

Take Consistent Action – this can be a part time or full time business in Network Marketing, but it can’t be spare time. Set your goals around how many people you will get your opportunity in front of and then make it happen!

Allow Time For It To Happen – If someone told you that you would get rich overnight in your Network Marketing business, they were less than honest with you. Nothing substantial is built overnight! But, create a slight edge philosophy of taking small, significant action steps every day and watch your business explode.

That’s really it – the keys to your success. Of course your contact list, inviting, presenting, following up and training are part of it, too. Start with these three keys and the rest will follow!

Catching the Vision for the Future of Send Out Cards

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be at the right place, at the right time? What if you are there right now, poised to get involved in a business that can make your dreams come true? Are you ready to take action on that?

My family delayed getting involved with this company for over 2 years, waiting on something that clearly was not going to happen somewhere else. What’s holding you back? Don’t make the mistake of missing out!

Developing an Appreciation Marketing Strategy

One of the things I’ve grown to love very quickly about a business with Send Out Cards is the power in Appreciation Marketing; Gratitude and Serving Others.

How many businesses can you do this in?

Doesn’t it feel great to appreciate others; to live with an attitude of gratitude and in doing these things, serve others?

People often ask me what’s the best way to get the business started and here is what I say:

Your new business comes with 200 points. Set a goal to get those “points” out into the world. Each card is 2 points and a postcard is 1 point. Make a list of your first 200 people. Then, sort through that list.

For those who you even sort of think might have an interest in the business, send them a card and let them know you’ve started a new venture that you are excited about. Let them know you wanted to share the gift of what this business can provide and if they know anyone who might be looking, please pass on the information. Let them know you practice “Appreciation Marketing” and will reward them for their referrals!

Send a free company DVD along with it.

Call them a week later and ask them if they would like to send a card to someone they care about through the system, for free.

For those on the list who you aren’t sure about, send out a card or postcard and let them know you are thinking of them. You have a new greeting card business and wanted to use it to just let them know they are on your mind!

Now remember, your personal website for Sending Out Cards is on each card that goes out. How many people do you suppose might get curious and hop on your site for details?

Choosing the Right SOC Sponsor

There is an age old debate in Network Marketing and Direct Sales about whether or not you are obligated to sign up with the first person who shares an opportunity with you.

I wanted to offer my 2 cents on the topic, since I have been at both ends of this debate. You are going to win some, and you are going to lose some. Always be a gracious sponsor and potential sponsor!

First, please remember that more and more people are choosing Network Marketing and Direct Sales as a career path. If you are choosing something to build a future; a lifestyle and a significant income around, don’t you think it’s wise to make a full out business decision regarding your sponsor and upline?

Make sure you are presenting yourself as a business professional. Do you follow up? Do you offer samples and information? Do you offer some level of support, interested and training before your prospect signs on the dotted line? Do you keep in touch in case your prospect’s interest level changes? Remember, most people aren’t ready to start their business the day they hear about it or begin researching.

Are you attractive to you as a potential sponsor?

These are important questions to answer as internet marketing of the business of network marketing increases; and as people move outside of their warm market. Some people are going to “Sponsor Shop.” It’s just a reality so be prepared, and be gracious, no matter what.

Here is a story one of my team partners shared recently –

“Hi Jackie,

I had a bit of an awkward moment at Toastmasters this morning. The fellow who first mentioned Send Out Cards to me has noticed my new signature line in my emails. He jokingly said he’s not speaking to me anymore.

For a bit, I felt a bit guilty. But then I thought there is a reason why I didn’t sign up under him. He’s a great guy and he and his wife are very active in our TM club. However, all he did was give me a magazine and DVD. He didn’t follow up. He didn’t give me access to sending a free card. He didn’t provide any other information.

You shared more info with me. You explained about the company. You provided a link to your site and had me send a free sample. You gave me your attention and got me involved even before I’d fully decided to join. Your efforts told me I’d be supported and trained. That helped make all the difference in my decision proceed.

Thanks, Jackie. I appreciate you!”

So, what can you do to make yourself an irresistible sponsor? What can you provide of value that will make your prospect much less interested in “looking around?” As I mentioned, I have been on both ends. I have had people not want to work with me because I am on Pacific Time, and they were Eastern and they felt I would not be accessible. That’s okay. I wasn’t offended. I want it to be a win-win for them. I have had other reasons as well, and it really doesn’t matter. What matters is that each person make the business decision that fits them the best.

I didn’t whine, cry or get upset. It wasn’t meant to be. And, those things force us to get better!

Lead with value; commitment and integrity and you’ll creating your own sponsoring storm!
