Team Recognition

Be a master of recognition for your team. Always be looking for ways that you can reward and publicize those small success steps in the journey. These are the things that lead to bigger and bigger successes in the business.

Have team get togethers, if possible, at your convention. Have challenges and encourage the team to get involved. People want to be involved in something fun and special. Many people get little recognition in their jobs.

And, since their network marketing business is volunteer anyway, give them a reason to want to achieve more.

It’s been said that people will work harder for recognition than money. Think about the power in giving a “Facebook Shout Out” for an achievement! Or recognizing these achievements in a team newsletter or update! Send out cards and gifts that show your appreciation

Power in the Thank You Card

When was the last time you sent out a thank you card? Do you send them regularly, in your business and personal life?

These days, there is a tendency to let email and e-cards take the place of the good old fashioned “Snail Mail” card. You can really set yourself apart by being a regular card sender.

Most people don’t send cards today for a few reasons:

It’s inconvenient. You have to hassle with the mall/post office, etc.
It’s expensive.
We forget.

There are more, but these cover most of them.

That saying “What you give out into the world comes back” is so true. Be a person of gratitude and appreciation. Share abundance in your thinking and your actions and watch what shows back up.

I love being part of a company who’s mission is to help millions of people act on their promptings. How cool is that. I also love being part of a company that is not always going on and on about making big money. We KNOW what kind of money can and is being made by some. It’s much more rewarding to focus on making a difference in someone’s life through gratitude and appreciation.

Because when we do this, the money WILL follow.

Why Would You Start a Greeting Card Business?

Let’s explore a few key questions that are important in determining WHAT you want from your business and WHY you are building it. Success means many different things to different people and there is no right or wrong on what success is.

Define it personally for yourself! Just remember, your WHY will be like a lighthouse guiding you through any business storms to safe harbor!

Key Questions to Answer:

What kind of residual income do you want?  __________

How many hours per week are you willing to commit to your business to develop that income? __________

How many months or years are you willing to work to develop that income? __________

How would your life change if you had that kind of monthly income from your Greeting Card Business?

Why is that level of income important to you?

Get clear on these questions and get ready to rock your business of Sending Out Cards!

Your Job is Not to Convince Anyone

Are you trying to convince people to join your Online Greeting Card business; or any business for that matter?

Are you making the mistake of trying to convince people that this amazing tool is something they must have?

This is a mistake that many of us make. We so “get” how powerful it is on every level to keep in touch and connected to those we care about; those we meet; and those who we appreciate through our tool sending out cards and gifts, right?

So, we “overdo it” with others in our excitement.

Here is the thing – you really can’t convince another person who’s not ready to see or be convinced.

Your job is to share the tool; teach people how to go to your site; experience the 15,000 cards and amazing gift selection and actually send out a card to someone.

Once they have done this, they either get it or they don’t. Over time, some who didn’t get it at first will, and they will come back to you if you keep in touch with them.

Some will never get it, and that’s okay!

If you focus on your own daily activity of sending out a heartfelt card, and sharing the powerful tool of sending out cards and gifts with others, you will build a highly successful business.

And, some of those people who didn’t “get it” will say you were lucky. That just proves one thing – they still don’t get it!
