Stories are a powerful way to build rapport and sponsor!

People don’t remember facts, figures, patents that are pending, big fancy names, or celebrity endorsements.

People remember stories of how a life has been changed through a product, an experience, and a business that allows one to fire a boss, leave a job, spend more time with loved ones, and so on.

Think of the best story tellers you know? Think of those events you’ve attended and the speakers – do you remember the facts they shared, or the stories they shared that you could relate to?

What has happened or what do you EXPECT to happen as a result of it?

Congratulations! Are you ready to finally be successful in Network Marketing?

 

Don’t let me speak for you, but I probably know how you are feeling. If you’ve read my story, you know that I will never be written up in the network marketing hall of fame as a “fast starter!” In fact, I’m sure my picture lined the hall of the “doubtfuls” for a while!

 

And, as we say, it’s a marathon and not a sprint. I finally figured it out not once, not twice, but now three times. I just passed my 19 year anniversary in Network Marketing and I can say this – I have NEVER quit.

 

And, since I have learned what works, I’m starting an 8 week, intensive, sure-fire success mentoring program for my team.

 

This is what I’ll be showing you –

 

1. How to Turn Your Mindset and Personal Struggles Into Success and Break the Cycle – This is getting your business set up done RIGHT!

 

2. How to put together a simple, proven system using the tools and resources of SendOutCards and our team. When you know WHAT to do each day, you are much more likely to DO IT! I’ll share the steps I take each day; each week; each month and each year to be successful.

How to Introduce the Business to Others

If I could show you some simple ways to share your business with others, would that help?

One thing people so often struggle with is what to say to –

People they know.

People they meet.

Follow up with people they have already talked to.

One reason I am so successful is that I have cracked the code on how to introduce the business to others in a way that does not make them think it’s going to be “sales”; or that I am telemarketing them; or that I am begging them to take a look.

Here are some simple “one liners” that work –

“Hey Mary, remember last week at the party, when you mentioned how you were worried about college costs and paying for your daughter to start school next year? I don’t know if you would be open to it, but I have started a side project that is funding those extra costs for us. Would you be open to a 15 minute conversation and demo on what is working for us?”

Detach from what Mary says. If she starts asking questions, just say – “I don’t have time right now, but I have some time next Tuesday night, or Thursday day time. It will take about 15 minutes. Which time is better for you?”

Or, sometimes I just say – “I’m working with a company called SendOutCards, have you heard of them?” 98% of the time the answer is no!

Then, I just go back to “which time is better for you, Tuesday evening or Thursday during the day? It’s about 15 minutes to go through it and you’ll know a lot more about it and can decide if you want to know more.”

Remember this – you are looking for people who are open and interested. NOT people you have to beg. Don’t be offended if the time isn’t right!
